Ava's only wish was to be Hermione Granger.

Luke was going to be his "packpack fan" from last year, but after a little convincing, was stoked to be Harry Potter.
They run around every night casting spells on each other anyway, so once they had the costumes, they were thrilled!
And I think the easiest costume to sew has to be Hogwarts robes, so that was a big bonus in my book.
Max donned The Lion, made many years ago by Grandma Linda for our nephew.
Luke wore it two years ago, and this year size and season were in perfect correspondence, so Max seized his chance.
Now there is a big pile of robes and fur in the family room and we are eating candy for every meal, which to me, sounds just about right.
