Pardon the Interruption

I have to sneak in between trip recaps to mark this day off in Colton history.

Max uses sentences like this in many instances:

"I want it.  Cookie."

"I NEED it. milk."

"I love it. Buzz."

"I watch it.  Star Wars."

The other day, Dan told him he needed to be in a better mood.  His reply?

"Don't want it. Mood."

Not too long ago, he started up what he considered to be a hilarious joke. (We thought it was pretty funny too.)  If I said, "I love you, Max,"  He would say, "I love it...Daddy!" And then laugh his little head off. Vice versa, with Dan.

Kind of like this,

But yesterday, as I sat on the family room floor folding laundry he walked over and plopped on my lap.  We were tummy to tummy and face to face.   With squinted eyes, in his squeakiest little voice, the one he reserves to talk about how cute a baby is, he said, "Hi, Mom."

"Hi, Max"

And for the first time, on his own accord, he said "I love it. Mommy"

He laid his big head over on my chest and wrapped his arms around my neck.

"I love it. Max." I said.

"I love it.  Mommy. I love it. Mommy.  I love it. Mommy"

March 29, 2012, one of my favorite Mommy days, and that's no joke.

That is adorable ... I shouldn't read things like that when I'm pregnant and hormones are out of control ...

I don't think there's anything else more cute or precious that exists on the internet now.
