When we were little and we played tag or hide and go seek, one of the first things we did was designate "base".
Today I would like to know where "base" is. I want to call "TIME OUT!"
TIME OUT!!!!!!!
Max has pneumonia. And another ear infection. Dan has the flu. The real flu. And a sinus infection.
Pretty much we haven't been well since the new year. And in the last two weeks alone we have had a combined: 5 ear infections, 3 strep throats, 1 uti, 1 bout of bloody diahrrea (apologies to my Facebook friends), 1 case of pneumonia, 1 sinus infection, 1 case of the flu.
And as we speak, Luke has an unexplained limp.
Seriously.
Like I said, time out.

I say "time-out" is completely called for! Can I bring you dinner or something?
i am so sorry!!!!! we had a winter like that 2 winters ago. instead of ears it was pink-eye. instead of the flu it was RSV. but it sounds so similar-- numerous rounds of antibiotics, high fevers with coughs, staying home and away from everyone for weeks on end, feeling cooped up and trying not to go crazy!!!
it is miserable watching your kids feel sick. Little Max will be in our prayers. and i hope the rest of you stay clear from the "real flu"...which is oh so different from the stomach flu, they shouldn't even have the same name!
i was actually just re-reading an old post about all of it the other day, and i'm really glad i wrote it all down. because, believe it or not? i'd actually forgotten a lot of the details!
