Boring stuff and a question

We paid off the van today, so that feels good. Three years early too. Now if we keep saving those payments to put towards the car we should be done with that loan pretty quick as well.

I am lucky that Dan is a good financial planner. And a good money earner. Because I would not be considered either. We won't even talk about my spotty job history. Actually maybe I should someday. It's kind of funny.

Max is still wheezing but definitely on the mend. He is walking pretty normal now, too.

I am feeling much better. Though I am starting to get slightly worried about a silly race Dan and I signed up for the second week of April.

The Warrior Dash.

Because including today, I have officially exercised zero times in the last 29 days. Zero.

I think I have a few medical excuses, but they won't really help much come race day. I need to get myself in gear, but I am struggling to find the motivation. Come on Motivation! I need you!

Not too long ago, Ava had her 100th day of school along with all the accompanying parties and projects. And if I thought the late nights to finish procrastinated school projects were over with my college diploma, I was sorely mistaken.

I forgot about my kids. We started this project about 10 minutes before bedtime. Just enough time for Ava to write the title and glue on a row.

100 PIEGES OF ME

Then I lovingly and painstakingly pasted on the other ninety pieges late into the night (like 11pm Ha! How everything is relative!). I am sure that is against the Mom Law of Teaching Responsibility, but when Mom lacks the responsibility to keep the dates of the kindergarten projects straight, I think it's only fair that Mom is the one who suffers the consequences. I was not willing, however, to punish myself enough to let my tired five year old stay up late with me to work with glue and tiny papers that had to be arranged with exactness. That would be a recipe for disaster.

But we think it turned out pretty cute, all things considered.

Finally, A question for those of you who have printed your blog or know somebody who has....What company did you use? Did you like it? Was the formatting simple? Please, please, please share your wisdom with me. I want to print out my first year or so, just to start with, but it is important to me that the pictures are all included with each post, in the same format in which they appear. You know what I mean?

Elise, my love, what on God's green earth made you decide to sign up for the Warrior Dash?? You couldn't pay me enough to do that...although I would love to sit on the sidelines in a lazy-boy with a bowl of ice cream in my lap and cheer you on! Love you and Good Luck!!

No guilt on the not running for the last few weeks! Look at what you have gone through!

sharedbook.com! It is the best. Easy. But, not exactly cheap if you want to do it right. Check the box that will make your pictures stay close to where you put them and the words around them. Do it hardback! And, I could never get away with a whole year in one book. But you don't put up a gazillion pictures like me, so you may be able to do it!

Good luck!

Come on, Val! You can do it with us! Or I would even settle for you to come cheer us on in your lazy boy! Did I mention you get a fuzzy horner helmet. I will totally give you mine if you come up here.

And thank you, Leah!! You have tried a few different ones haven't you? I am willing to pay, just as long as I can get it how I want it!

I could never get blurb.com to "slurp" my blog. I have heard that it is the best. I have made many books on my own using blurb.com (like books about our quilts we made during conference or family reunion books) and they have turned out beautifully. I tried for months to get it to do my blog with no luck and then discovered sharedbook. So, I just gave up on blurb...

Rachel's job history would rival yours :)

We have very much in common, Rachel and I!

I think zero times exercising beats what I've done in that time. If there is such a thing as anti-exercising, that's what I've been up to.

Bah! Well I do recall that you worked at a bakery? And on your first day you left for lunch and never went back. Am I right? Hahaha!

Haha,Rach, not exactly! I think you are combining two different job quitting experiences :)
