I know it's common knowledge that less is more but today more is more because I just loved so many of these pictures, I had a hard time narrowing it down.
Since the beginning, just three years ago, Dan has jumped into fatherhood with both feet.

And I hesitate to write some of these things about Dan because they sound so trite.
And everyone says they have the best dad in the world, but I truly believe that he is.
The best dad in the world.
I hear some women complain about their husbands not doing this or that. And sure, Dan forgets to take the trash out now and again. But I do not have one complaint about how he is as a father.
He helps me so much. As soon as he gets home from work and he changes clothes, he is on the floor playing, feeding Luke, giving baths, brushing teeth, giving medicine, wiping bottoms, reading scriptures, putting Ava to bed. He's a hands-on dad.
He is never too tired to help.
He is never too angry to be kind.
He is never too busy to give love.
He is as involved with our children as any man could be. And he is genuinely happy about it.
And sometimes fatherhood is a balancing act,
but he's got it pretty well figured out!
Oh, and don't get me started on how much these kids love their daddy. In Ava's eyes definitely, I'm acceptable but he is preferable.
that I want my daughters to marry.
Dan,
Thank you for being the father of our family. You preside in love and righteousness, just as it should be. You are worthy and good and I know how hard you work to maintain our lives in the ways that are important to us. I couldn't ask for more. Happy Father's Day!
Love,
Me
