Luke Ground-Walker

For the past few weeks Luke has been taking 1 or 2 steps here and there. And then over the past few days, he's taken 2 or 3. (never when we expect it, of course!)

But then yesterday it's as if a little switch turned on in his mind and he just decided to walk. Instead of standing somewhere, wanting to go somewhere else, and immediately getting down to crawl, he just lets go and walks. And then of course he falls and crawls the rest of the way.

So it's not like he walks everywhere now, it's just that he starts out trying to walk and that's different.

We cheer for him so much when he does it, so whenever he walks and then falls, he immediately turns to look at us for the applause. He gets pretty excited about it himself. This video shows him clapping and walking!

And here I am enticing him with the beloved paci.

Bless his heart!! He is cuteness personified. I'm lucky he is mine!

Yay for walking! He is so darned cute! And I will mention it here rather than on the appropriate post but I have the SAME problem with Noah's eating! And since I took some speech therapy advice and went the route of waiting for him to ask for food we really have no schedule either. Maybe once Ian starts eating solids I can re-work the rules/schedule?! Let me know if it works for you.

The video of Luke going after his paci is now Dallin's offical favorite movie. He sat there this morning for 15 minutes watching it over and over. so cute.
